The Natura® Durahesive® Skin Barrier with ConvaTec Moldable Technology™ is a unique, one-of-a-kind product that is designed to provide an extremely comfortable and secure fit. The patented Moldable Technology allows the barrier to be molded to the skin for a perfect fit, and the HC tape collar ensures a secure and snug fit. The Accordion Flange provides an extra layer of protection, and the hydrocolloid construction ensures that the product remains in place even under wet conditions.
Durahesive® Skin Barriers are designed for people whose stoma output is mostly liquid. Unlike other skin barriers/wafers that can break down when exposed to liquid output, Durahesive® skin barriers/wafers swell up to protect the stoma. This special effect, called turtlenecking, helps create a more secure seal without harming the skin. Durahesive® skin barriers are also easy to fit, apply, and remove.
